Established in 1989, Northern Horse Park is a 50 hectares horse-themed nature park. In this park, you can enjoy horse riding, carriage riding, cycling, mini-golf and other outdoor activities. To see horses, there are various types and colors of horses in the stable, you may encounter the award-winning horse here. There is a 1,200m training course, racing horses galloping can be seen. From May to September, in the riding area, there will be show jumping, dressage and Western tournaments, you can watch all the events for free. In the winter, you can enjoy indoor horse riding, horse-drawn sled, skiing, snowmobile and snow rafting.

There are also “Horse Gallery” racehorse museum and “K’s Garden” with beautiful plants and flowers in the park. K’s Garden is a garden restaurant, you can enjoy Hokkaido’s local tasty dish surrounded by plants and flowers.

Getting There By Train
15 minutes ride by loop bus from Chitose Airport.
30 minutes ride by car from JR Tomakomai Station.

By Car
Take Hokkaido Expressway to the Chitose exit and take National Highway route 36 and Dodo Expressway route 10. It is approximately 20 minutes from exit.
