Shinjuku Subnade is the largest underground shopping street in Shinjuku area. It stretches out from Shinjuku Station to Yasukuni-dori (Yasukuni Avenue) which runs through Shinjuku. It is located in the major entertainment area in Japan and easy to access. Visitors can find latest fashion trends of clothing, footwear, accessories and have delicious food.

Not only shops for visitors, there are many stores for local people such as pharmacies, old bookstall, second-hand shops selling movie and railway ticket.

Travel Advice

Shinjuku Subnade is connected between JR line and Marunouchi Line, and Kabukicho. Visitors can access Kabukicho from Shinjuku Station by going through Shinjuku Subnade without the worry of rain and can keep warm in the winter days.
